The "flash taskbar" preference was moved to the "Wingaim Options" plugin (which is included with gaim). You will need to turn on that plugin and choose the appropriate option. -D |

The port doesn't matter. Are you using either Gaim 1.5.0 or 2.0.0 beta 3? Can you start Gaim from a command prompt using "gaim -d" and look for error messages?
