Hi,

Updated to 2.6.1 on Vista, Pidgin now will not connect to any accounts, does anyone know where I can download 2.6.0 from?

  There is no 2.6.0 windows binary; a bug was discovered prior to the 2.6.0 binaries being created and we went straight to 2.6.1

    Similar problem here - vista sp2 home fr.
    Since upgrading to 2.6.1:
    - google talk sometimes disconnects and takes a while to reconnect
    - account on jabber.ez.no cannot connect anymore
    - irc account otoh is ok

  What protocols are the accounts that will not connect using? Are they all XMPP accounts?

  I had the same problem...found a resolution on the pidgin site:

  You'll need to download the following file and save to the pidgin installation directory
