#4 Installing Xindice

Hello sorry to bug anyone.

I am from Australia and pretty new to this stuff and
decided to start with off by getting a windows XP Pro
machine running Xindice and PHP so that i could make
some cool web applications.... although i cannot find any
install instructions anywhere? I thought this would have
to be the place.

It may sound Very Very stupid but is this what you need
to do. I know it will be wrong so I would greatly
appreciate corrections :) !!!:

Step 1: Compile Xindice on windows
Step 2: Install PHP 4.3.2 for Apache web server
Step 3: Xindice XML-RPC plugin
Step 4: Install php_xindice-0.6

IS THAT AT ALL RIGHT ????????
DO I need to install Apache Web Server before anything
or is that part of Xindice ????

I have been a web designer for years now and wanted
to delve into XML and PHP which i know a bit of... Just
need to get started :)

Any help whatsoever would be the best.
