I'v just installed Backend/PHPslash but can't figure out one thing:
All my blocks are on the right side
Now I know it should use the index3col template
How do "place" the blocks on the left since it does not show as an option when
I create a block?

This should help:
- Log in as god
- go to the blockAdmin screen
- select/create the block you want to put into the left column
- You'll see an 'Options' area at the bottom of the form - change/create a Variable Name 'column' to be one of 'left', 'right' or 'center'
(In PSL, blocks position themselves, rather than being positioned by the page that contains them)
Out of interest, did you download from the CVS or the snapshot?

You can find a good resource for general PSL stuff at http://www.phpslash.org/article.php3?story_id=34§ion_id=8&topic_id=39 - it's an online manual. Not all of it is relevant to Back-end, but sections 5 & 6 are worth having a look at in particular - as well as the rest of the site.
But you're right - maybe we should put a more explicit link in the back-end.org site and the READMEs.
There was a pretty extensive manual for the previous version of BackEnd, but the move to PSL has superseded a lot of it, unfortunately. I think someone's working on an update.

Cool - we're doing some major development ATM so the CVS code may sometimes be a bit glitchy, though we are trying to keep it stable.
PS: Have you subscribed to the back-end lists too?
