- when one checks the checkbox 'enable directory backups?' the FTP-connection is being checked when saved, even if 'save backups per FTP' is disabled. Why?

The FTP user/password is checked because directory backups only work with FTP. It's not possible to backup directories by email!
Mhm, makes sense.
Maybe 'save backups per FTP' should be enabled automatically then, when directory backups are enabled?
