Could be run behind a firewall to scan a private set of ips, 10.10, or 169.0.0.0, etc. Could also be used in a remote lan or wan and then send the data results back to the main server via the api.
You could possibly just add an extra installation of phpipam on a remote server and point it to the mysql database. Then modify the remote installation to only do discovery scan on subnets with custom value X.
This will of coarse require that the remote site can access the database via an encrypted connection :-)

Hi, will add "phpipam-agents" in next release, status updates will be dona via API.
