I want to use an old code, derived from this one (available on TeXample.net):
http://www.texample.net/tikz/examples/map-projections/
it worked previously until I update my TeX installation from MacTeX 2013 to 2014 version. Now, the latitude and longitude lines don't appear anymore. I think the bug reside in the pgfmath command.
My LaTeX code is attached.
This is also discussed on TeX-SX we are suspecting that the problem might be related to key expansion (also mentioned in a rather exaggerated tone --> bug #306) since the lines come back by changing the /.estyle to /.style but leads to other problems. See the following link for more info.

I am also noticed this bug in this trial. Noticed, I have replaced the
.estyle
with.style
. Maybe I cannot process this plotting without fixing this bug...Last edit: Xiaodong 2015-01-22
