Hi,

While updating, I ran into this issue: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350902

In short, I could not build aubio from the main tree w/o removing puredata first. I could compile aubio first, then puredata, but will this cause something not to work?

I posted most information on the gentoo bug tracker, but if you like I can post it here as well. It seems the aubio build finds the puredata install, and tries to build a plugin for it, but fails. Maybe the change has to be done in the aubio build, or some extra files added to the puredata install, a version mismatch, I have no idea..:)

I test your situation. No problem with aubio. Are you sure?

Yes, just tried to replicate the error, and get same results, even after running a full system/world emerge. Let me know if I can provide you with more information than what I have uploaded at the bug tracker: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350902

Same error present in pd-0.42_p6 as well as in the pd-extended ebuild. The latter could only be compiled with the use flag "unauthorized" turned off, BTW.

I's a gentoo team and or aubio team "error".

I have same problem than you finaly. I remove "eautoreconf" from aubio ebuild, and then, aubio compiled succesfully, with aubio's pd external.

I will inform gentoo and and aubio team.
