#317 Orinoco Gold + PCMCIA

PCMCIA-CS 3.2.4V with an lucent orinoco gold card
(Firmware 8.10) cannot find a CISCO 1200 AP when
EAP/TLS is turned on. If I am not mistaken, before
the EAP process can take place, the card must first find
the AP, and then send an EAPOL request. My card
cannot find the access point...Also using wireless tools
25 on slackware 9.0. Any help would be nice, I am
trying to allow a large WISP to use linux as an OS to
add to a list of usuable os's.
If anyone can tell me what I am missing, let me know.

This sounds like a very specific wireless issue (I don't even
know what EAP is) so you'll probably have better luck posting
this to the mailing list for the orinoco driver, or sending to the
orinoco maintainer directly. It does not sound like a problem
with the PCMCIA infrastructure.
