I thought about the patch of multi byte character string of utf8 for the ellipsis display of the history of parcellite-0.9.3.
For Bugs 2839218 Raw code appears in clipboard.
Please verify it to you.

Sorry I've taken so long to get on this one. I'm now looking at it. I suspect I have many holes as regards UTF8 strings.

I should have noticed this patch earlier 'cause I commit an almost same patch today.

ps. I think a better way to tidy history menu is to fix the width of the window other than counting character/byte

I've got UTF-8 checking in SVN 303, will appear in 1.0.2rc7. Please check SVN and see if it fixes the issue.
