first: thanks for parcellite!

i have started using it and really like the feature set and functionality. i am an occasional mac user, and have come to really love jumpcut on the mac -- it has a really great UI and such, but one feature i like is that when you choose an item from your history, it immediately pastes it. i find this variation on the functionality much quicker and more useful than the multistep choose-then-paste process.

apologies if this feature already exists in parcellite (if so, i hope to discover it!), but could it be an option added in future releases? thanks!

It appeared in 1.1.1, see preferences-> Auto paste. Look at the tooltips.

    It requires xdotool.
    You're welcome :)

Grab SVN, it fixes a bunch of bugs. Usually, anything in the trunk is stable. It will become 1.1.5. Cheers.

I'm using Ubuntu 17 running Gnome Desktop. I have installed xdotool and turned on auto paste and rebooted but it still does not work. When I select text from the history, it just copies it to my clipboard and I have to paste it manually. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this issue?

The mouse paste option pastes where ever the mouse is, so it has limited uses. Try selecting the key option and unselecting the mouse option next to auto paste, and see if that helps.
