Dear David
it would be great if you could allow to use custom options field for rdesktop options. Environments change so often that using custom fields for every rdesktop options would be a waste of time, but one, common field for 'extra options' like:

-x: RDP5 experience (m[odem 28.8], b[roadband], l[an] or hex nr.)

or
-o: name=value: Adds an additional option to rdesktop.
sc-csp-name Specifies the Crypto Service Provider name which
is used to authenticate the user by smartcard
sc-container-name Specifies the container name, this is usally the username
sc-reader-name Smartcard reader name to use
sc-card-name Specifies the card name of the smartcard to use

It would be really, really required not to have switch between different managers.

Examples? Most of current Windows OS'es uses some kind of desktop diversity options like bginfo (Azure). In multihosted environments it's really required to know on which host you're logged.
Wallpapers and so will be displayed only on -x l options, so as for now we have difficulties to tell: which host we are logged on.

Thanks in advance for considering it.
