I tried to install the beta 2 version in English on a german Windows XP and Win 7 computer. Now the views are english and the user interface is german. Is there a way to change the user interface to english as well?
Or does this stick to the OS language?

The interface comes from Windows regional settings. If you want that to be English make a shortcut to windows regional settings on the desktop and change to English before you launch OWB and after launching go back to German for other software.
