I installed openqrm in Debian Squeeze (with all the latest packages). The openqrm 4.6 is getting deprecated php function warnings with the php 5.3.1. Is porting of those functions to newer 5.3.1 is the solution for this? Has anyone else faced this problem? Following are the some of the sample errors that I am getting.
Deprecated: Function ereg_replace() is deprecated in /usr/share/openqrm/web/base/class/layersmenu.class.php on line 506
Deprecated: Function ereg_replace() is deprecated in /usr/share/openqrm/web/base/class/layersmenu.class.php on line 812
I did a search for all those deprecated functions and see there may be around 100 places that might require change. Contributing a patch for this would make sense?
Thanks,
Siva
