Ubuntu 12.04 LTS x86 64bit KVM boot error

    Hello Matt,

    After I populated the rootFS for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS x86 in lvm-NFS and created the image and deployed the appliance. I encountered the error as shown in the link - http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/7648/ubuntu1204ltsvncbooterr.jpg that says "Failed to create pty - disabling logging for job". Despite of the errors I can still log on via ssh BUT  I CAN NOT log in via VNC because of the said error then hang/freeze. But when I installed Ubuntu 12.04 via virt-manager in CentOS it goes smoothly without any a single error.

    Did I missed something along the way in the openQRM side Matt?

    Hi Sir,

    I got the very same message in the vnc after the booting of vm with 12.04 ubuntu with the kernel 2.6 and the new updated one 3.2 also,error still persists.. ..
    I can able to do ssh log in to the vm and its look gud..

    output of the dmesg
    init: Failed to create pty - disabling logging for job
    init: Temporary process spawn error: No such file or directory

    mmmh, still no idea.

    when you ssh login can you please check if /dev/pts is mounted ?
