I was wondering if there are any evaluation results for using OpenNLP tools. In particular I would like know if there are any recent precision and recall scores for the NE task.

Documenting the techniques and evaulation results is probably the top priority todo for the next release. The parser, tagger, and coref modules have been recently evaulated using parse eval and the MUC Coreference tasks. I've run the name system and computed MUC NE results previously but don't know off hand what those results were. I think they may be on my machine at home and can look tonight...Tom
