Hi !

Just to tell you that configure doesn't test very
well for the presence of "libperl development". In
fact, under Linux, I had a correctly ending configure
process with an error message at compile time, gcc
complaining that it can't find libperl-dev.

The correct behaviour of the program would have been
for configure to tell BEFORE the compilation is
started that libperl-dev is required !

I hope this is easy for you to fix.

I had the same problem. Wasn't tough to work around, but it is a bug that should be fixed.
