Apostrophe in email breaks import

with OpenEMM 6.1, but that's not in the category-dropdown
Just did an export of a complete OpenEMM-database and tried to import it. For some strange reason an email-field contained an apostrophe. When trying to report what OpenEMM itself just exported, OpenEMM displays no error at all but a white page instead. Only logs show that it just ran into an SQL-error :-(
Suggestions:
1) Please prevent "white pages" but show queries that failed (so it's easier to spot things like that email-address) if something goes wrong.
2) If that field would have been properly escaped I don't see a reason why it would cause problems. In the CSV it's enclosed with hyphens - no problem there.
Please provide example of data record causing this import problem.
