The existing FileNameDialog does not allow a file dialog to be used to position to a specific folder and provide a desired NEW file name using a Windows Dialog approach. A sample is provided in the OpenFileDialog found at http://pragmaticlee.safedataisp.net/ that would be just fine if it also worked on Vista and following - it only works on XP and earlier. The attachment is the method I currently am using on XP for my New File dialog interface.
