.file~new('','/') fails, but I believe it should return the root ('/' or '\') like .file~new('/','/') does.

Maybe even .file~new(,'/') could be considered as valid.

At the same time I believe .file~new('') should return the current directory as .file~new('.') does.
.file~new('')
.file~new('.')
And similar, .file~new() might be considered a legal specification to return the current directory.
