I have toshiba a105-s4004. After adding the omnibook module (ver. 20060921) to the kernel I have new folder:
/proc/omnibook, and three files in:
dmi
lcd
version
when I try to write i.E.:
echo "2" > /proc/omnibook/lcd
the value in this file is changing, but real brightness isn't. Also I can change this value by changing value in gnome-power-manager (from 0% - 70% is 0 - 7 in this file), but it still doesn't changing any brightness of my lcd.
