Omnet++ EPON Module / News: Recent posts

In this version some things changed: mostly class structure in EPON project (cleaning up) and some timing issues on the ONUs. For details look at the CHANGELOG

Release 0.2b is now available. It works with the new release of OMet++ and it is also tested with a newer inetmanet version. Various small bugs were fixed. Major bugs in timing fixed (the older versions are not going to work with variable packet length traffic). Finally a new part was added: Basic 802.1Q vlan implementation is there... and it seems it works (not very much tested though).

Release 0.1b:

- In ONUs and OLTs added the parameter node(); (Thanks to Daniele S.)
- Documentation added (pure doxy without ned files)
- Queues are now pluged in and working as Round Robin
- ServiceConfig parameters are taken under-consideration in the queue's modules
- MacCtl modules do not have a queue now
- EPON_Q_mgmt class added for abstraction
- Many small bugs fixed...
