Consider adding the synonym X wasting for the terms
increased urine calcium level (i.e. calcium wasting)
increased urine magnesium level
increased urine potassium level

HPO has a term called Renal Potassium wasting (undefined). So we may want to make the synonym renal X wasting
Dear Sue and colleagues,
I have provided a definition for renal potassium wasting. This is something that is measured in certain medical contexts:
Definition: High urine potassium in the presence of hypokalemia.
Comment: A urine potassium assay can be used to determine the cause of reduced serum potassium (hypokalemia). Normally, the kidney will reabsorb more potassium in the presence of hypokalemia. Therefore, a low urine potassium can suggest gastrointestinal potassium loss, poor dietary intake, or a shift of potassium from the extracellular to the intracellular space. On the other hand, a high urine potassium in the face of low serum potassium indicated renal loss, referred to as renal potassium wasting.
So therefore the terms are not synonymous. I see that the HPO hierarchy in this section could use with a bit of revision, perhaps the MP and the HP could group up to make sure there are correct correspondences wherever possible?
