"Bytes still allocated" underflows
Status: Beta

On application shutdown the number of bytes still allocated may underflow to a large number (e.g. 4294967284 bytes).
This is because the debug_new.cpp variable total_mem_alloc is not set under lock protection in function alloc_mem. Suggest the increment is moved to be under new_ptr_lock protection, mirroring the protection afforded to it in free_pointer. Observed in debug_new.cpp version 4.14, dated 2008/10/20 .
When I originally commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get several e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service? Many thanks!
