The emacs windows binary works fine with me. But as I just leave it open for weeks it does show one annoying issue:
The emacs edit area is messed up when moving up/down with arrow.
I have just successfully compiled a binary from CVS but please help me on generate the info online help files as you have done?

I see the same problem with the edit area becoming messed up after some days of running emacs. I recall some mails about this topic in emacs-pretest-bug@gnu.org during the last 2 years or so, but apparently the bug has not been fixed yet.
About generating the info files: I think i just used the cygwin port of texinfo.
