    Compare is a great & powerful plugin!  Kudos for that.
    I'm having trouble with the Option for "Highlight transparency".  There seems to be no visible difference when I change this setting.  I'm trying to get change highlights to be very distinct when scanning a long line of compared text, most importantly for single character differences.

    Setting Highlight transparency = 5:

    Setting Highlight transparency = 100:

    I'm using Compare 1.5.6.1 with Notepad++ 5.8.7 on Windows 7.

    Is this a bug, or is something else going on?  Otherwise as an alternative, is there capability to jump the cursor to each individual difference block in a line?
    Thanks

    Hi,

    It seems that highlighting stopped working since the v5.8 N++ version.
    I'm currently looking to fix it.

    If you really need to use this feature, you should consider using an older version of N++ (v5.6 should probably be OK).

    Regards
    Jean-Sebastien

    Did nobody ever fix this?
    I'm now on N++ v6.7.5 and Compare v1.5.6 and there is no highlighting, no matter what color or transparency I set. I am not using syntax highlighting.
