Nitrux is a Linux desktop distribution based on Debian, using the Calamares installer and featuring the NX Desktop on KDE Plasma 5. It prioritizes simplicity and uses OpenRC instead of systemd. Nitrux leverages AppImages for software management and includes Maui Apps, created with the MauiKit UI framework. The distribution is consistently updated with the latest Debian base and the Liquorix kernel, offering performance enhancements like flexible inode placement, zstd compression, and checksum verification.
Nitrux focuses on high performance with features such as an improved garbage collector, asynchronous I/O, and enabled zswap. It avoids synchronous updates to access times and manages VFS cache reclamation effectively.
Nitrux is an immutable Linux distribution, employing overlayroot to maintain the integrity of the root directory, which remains unmodifiable by default. This immutability enhances system security, and resistance to tampering, and simplifies maintenance.

Without a doubt, Nitrux OS is one of the most beautiful Linux distributions of today, in fact, one of the most beautiful operating systems of today. Everything here has been aesthetically designed, the icons are of the highest quality, Nomad Desktop's visual behaviors, its menu and even the dock designed specifically for distribution, can not be denied that I was amazed by all the work presented here.

Hello I have 5 recommendations for you; 1-) Package manager is Dpkg but get AppGrid and Gdabi 2-) The desktop environment can be downloaded on other Linux distributions 3-) Ubuntu and Mintte OnBoard On-Screen Keyboard 4-) Entrants can use tiled menu made for kde instead of Simple Menu 5-) Very slow on Virtualbox.
