I have downloaded and installed NixNote. Not sure why it is also called NeverNote, but it seems to be now called NixNote instead or are there actually two different programs?
After installing NixNote I see no option to connect to my Evernote account. In the manual it says to use the Online menu -- however, NixNote does not have an Online menu.
So how do I get started with using NixNote with my Evernote account?

The original name for the program was NeverNote. Evernote asked that it be changed because the name was too close to Evernote and they didn't want the appearance that it was supported by them.

I'm assuming you are using the Java version (it is the one that most prominently has the NeverNote references in it).

The first thing you'll probably want to do is to dowload the latest unstable patch nixnote.jar from SourceForge and replace the existing nixnote.jar (I think it is in /usr/local/share/nixnote.jar but I'm not at a Linux box at the moment).

Once you do this and restart NixNote, you should be able to click the sync icon or go to "Tools\Connect" menu option.

I did as you suggested and now Nixnote connects to my Evernote account and works.

    Glad it works.
