Hi, after encrypting & decrypting the database I was not able to start NixNote. By trying to start NixNote once again I got an error that NixNote could not connect to the database due to the reason that NixNote is already running.

First, make sure there isn't another thread running somewhere. do a "ps -ef" & look for a java process.

If it isn't running then your DB is probably corrupt. The easiest thing to do is to delete the database in ~/.nevernote/db. Then restart the program and do a full sync.

Encrypting and decrypting almost always corrupts the database everytime. I've tried many times and it always corrupted the database. Please fix the issue.

I'm running latest Nixnote 1.4 with nixnote1.4_notebook_stack_debug.jar on Mint 14 Nadia (built over Ubuntu 12.10)

Closing as out-of-date. With the ability to encrypt your home directory this is really redundant.
