Greetings, I am having trouble getting a pci Belkin F5D7001 to talk to a Belkin F5D7231-4 AP. Birds of a feather should talk together. I have a DWL-G630B1 talking fine to the AP using its appropriate ndiswrapper drivers. I also tried a DWL-G510 with the Atheros chipset in the pci box with the same results, so I am hoping that I am doing a dodo newby thing. If so, please make me look dumb :-) ndiswrapper version: 1.0rc1 (I don't know if it matters but the working DWL-G630 is using the previous drivers from about a week or so ago). Kernel version is 2.6.9. Symptom: installs perfectly (details below), pings from the local box perfectly, seems to associate fine, but no joy when trying to ping over the WIFI. I have walked around with the laptop checking signal strength to the AP and it seems adequate, ~90/154 whereever I try. The test stand is about 3m from the AP with a flimsy wall in between. The laptop has no problem at all connecting. When you "disconnect", do you just pull the plug or bring the iface down? As you can see there are 2 nic's that has the same subnet AND gateway, how should the packages know what route the should take? The above makes no sense. Try put both ifaces down and the configure the wireless and see if that works. - -- ~ .''`.
