I have a Sitecom LN-028 gigabit network card (wired) that connects to usb, but do not have a Linux driver for it, only a windows driver. Can ndiswrapper also be used for this, or can it only be used for wireless cards?
Thanks, Ton

In a "strike of genious" (why didn't I think of that before...??) I decided to google on the windows driver name of this device (AX88178). It turned out to be the name of the chipset used, and on the manufacturers site of the chipset I found a Linux driver for it. It still needs to be compiled, which will be my next challenge.
Will first try this route, might try ndiswrapper later if not successfull.
Meanwhile thanks for your help.

Some ethernet cards work with ndiswrapper, but a specific card may not. Try latest stable and report what happens with it.
Hi Giridhar,
Thanks for your very fast response.
