#61 Astronauts or no astronauts?

It's a nice feature to see astronauts sitting in the LM
and CM and when you do an EVA from the CM the center
one is actually away. And after splashdown, hatch open
and egress all three are outside in a dinghy, like they
should be.

However during the lunar excursion, it looks wrong: All
three astronauts remain visible in the CM while only
the center seat should remain occupied by the CM pilot.
The left seat was traditionally occupied by the
commander and the right hand seat by the LM pilot.

The LM is apparently always occupied by one astronaut,
even when it is still sitting in the S4B stage before
extraction, or after being jetissoned in lunar orbit
(and heading for a hard landing on the moon.) You can
see this when looking through the windows from the
outside, or by zooming in too close so the LM model
cuts open.

To correct this there should be a function (switch)
that lets the two moonwalking astronauts pass over
between CM and LM when these two are docked.

The only time the one astronaut in the LM is actually
correct (but not authentic) is during lunar EVA since
this simulator does not allow two astronauts walking on
the moon.
