#24 install issues on ubuntu 14

i'm having difficulty installing from source on ubuntu 14.
the configure script does not detect qt4 located in /usr/share/qt4.
i tweaked configure, but still was unable to make with qt4.

tried installing from the the rpm with alien, but get runtime error about missing libmysqlclient.so.15. newer systems are on libmysqlclient.so.16. no luck installing libmysqlclient15off either, it's gone from the repo.

anyway, just wanted to let you guys know about the install issues i had.
