#44 MoviX2 0.3.1rc1 -- Error opening video_out device

I have been testing the new MoviX2 release 0.3.1rc1.
Using the vesaFB1024 boot parameter, I'm getting the
following error message when attempting to play any
media file:

"Error opening/initializing the selected video_out
(-vo) device."

If I boot the CD without specifying any boot parameters
(i.e., by just hitting enter), video playback works
fine. In this case however, the whole distribution
starts up with a resolution of 800x600 instead of using
the 1024x768 'fullscreen mode'.
