I downloaded Movica in the last day or two. Used it to join a couple of movie files. It worked perfect. I thought I would check out the editing fuctions. As soon as I try to open a movie I get the message: "Movica has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." So I uninstalled and reinstalled it again and tried to open a movie file with the same results. I thought well I will try to join another movie file and see what happens. In both cases when I clicked on "File/Open Movie File" and when I clicked on "Join" the error message came up.
Any help anyone can offer to fix this problem would be much appreciated.

One thing that might cause this, as I read on a forum, is a corrupted profile. But if that is the case you should be seeing this problem with other applications as well.
