Hello,
I installed MOBAC, but no map works.
I tried to "perform online update" and get the error message below.
My assumption is, that I have a problem with Java or with the windows firewall or with avira.
Thanks for your support
Herbert

I would assume that this problem by your protection software.
Furthermore you are using an old Java version - your current version is outdated and vulnerable.
Hi,
I uninstalled java and installed it again- same status: no maps
The error message stays also the same:
Version: Mobile Atlas Creator (MOBAC) 1.9.7 (2019)
Platform: Windows 7 (6.1) (windows)
Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (1.7.0_04-b22)
Max heap size: 910,25 MiB
CPU cores: 4
Thread: AWT-EventQueue-0
Error hierarchy:
SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
I tried google earth and google maps. they work fine.
Do you have any hints concerning windows firewall or Avira?
Best regards,
Herbert
Please provide a detailed description of your actions before the error occurred.
Without such information I am unable to understand/reproduce what is going wrong.
Status: Waiting for feedback of the error reporter.
Do you need a proxy server for internet access?
Temporarily disable the firewall. Make sure you have only one installed.
Use a boot-cd to check your system for viruses:

Hi,
please close the file.
as I wrote before: After reinstallation it is working now.
Best regards,
Herbert
