Hi, I am a new user of MLT. Looking for some command line video editing tool. I tried the inigo demos and it looks promising. Quick question: With inigo, Is it possible to be able to write the output to a file rather than playing? (The services documents suggests that for the consumer "avformat", specify the output file name) Thanks, gaaga |

However, often times you need to supply more than just a file name. Right now, the easiest way to understand the avformat properties to use is to look at kdenlive's render dialog. Or, you can look at mlt's consumer_avformat.c. In the near term, I am going to change consumer_avformat to use the same option parsing as ffmpeg utility itself except in the property=value syntax instead of "-option arg". |
