I am running pdflatex with the '-quiet' switch. Although most of the output is suppressed, the line "entering extended mode" is still displayed. Furthermore, the filenames for all of the graphics that are placed in the pdf file are also displayed. Is there any way to force pdflatex to run without absolutley any output (unless there is an error of course)?
