No

Yap 2.4.1596
WinXP SP1
AFPL GhostScript 8.14 installed

Viewing a .DVI file in YAP and choose Print Postscrpt...
Used the DVI -> PostScript -> Printer method
I get the message 'MiKTeX Print Utility failed for some
reason.'
Doesn't matter which queue I select (local, network, or
file)
If I use the 'normal' print command, everything works.
Yap is configured to use c:\texmf\miktex\bin\mgs.exe

That's not enough. Please attach a DebugView log.

OK, looking at the log I see it's not supposed to work.
Can you change this to a feature request?
The feature would be to print postscript to any printer port
like GSView does. Not just to LPT1: LPT2: or LPT3:

Thanks for the log file. For some reason, Dvips cannot
write to LPT4: Can you tell me more about this printer port?

LPT4: is a 'Standard TCP/IP Port'. Naming this type of port
with the form LPTx: used to work in Win9x when a DOS program
wanted to print. Like capturing a printer port without the
capture. It doesn't work in WinXP.
However, it isn't just LPT4: that doesn't work. As you can
see from the attached .LOG file, it cannot use
    FILE: (aka print to file)
    - or -
    \clemsonu\MATHSCI01.Martin.Printing.clemsonu (a netware
    queue)
    - or -
mshpadmin1 (another 'Standard TCP/IP Port' with a normal name)
    Basically, if I cannot do: C:>copy file.log INSERT_PORT_HERE
then DVI cannot print postscript to the port.
This is something GSView can do.
I understand why, which is why I changed it from a bug to a
    feature request.
