when i import an stl from 3ds max, then color the faces via PreFaceColourFunction and then export to texworks via a U3D, the resulting pdf looks as though it is a self-illuminated object.
Actually the mesh has 90 degree angles. How do I smooth the mesh in meshlab, so that it appears to accept light at the correct angle of incidence. Thanks
