'Small components select and delete selected faces and vertices' does not work using meshlabserver.
It works using GUI.
This ticket is to reopen bug #209. This was tested on v1.34BETA_64bit on Windows 7 & 8.1.
Note that I frequently have small isolated components created by the Uniform Mesh Resampling filter, which I am running as part of a filter script. If I include the small component select & delete items in the script after the resampling, sometimes it actually works, sometimes it does nothing, and sometimes it crashes meshlab. Sometimes the small component select filter crashes meshlab in the gui as well if run directly after the resampling. If I use the small component select & delete items in a separate filter script it runs without errors, however the model is unchanged.
Please fix; this is an incredibly useful filter! Currently I have to stop in the middle of the automatic processing in order to manually open the model and delete these small generated components.
Attached sample file with small components created by the resampling filter. These can be selected & deleted from the gui, but not from meshlabserver.
