I have a problem.. actually two.. First of all, when using Mesa you can declare an OSMesaContext which enables you to render to system memory rather than a window. Does OpenGL have a feature such as this hidden somewhere?? I need to use openGL without starting an X server.. If the previous isn't possible, I can live with having to fire up X but here is my second question. I want to retreive the framebuffer and Z-buffer information from opengl after I've rendered a frame.. does anyway know how to do this?
