I would like my Mediatomb server to reduce jpegs at a certain size if i connect with my tv, but at another size if i do with my archos or my android phone. Is it possible to define multiple profiles for a given media format, and to send the good one, depending on the client ?

Unfortunately there is no way to change mediatomb's behavior for different clients. It's a one config fits all at the moment.
