#16 MediaInfo Mac Error

Purchased from Mac Store
On most feature film movies I've ripped from Blu-Ray or DVD I get this error:

Error
Cannot Open File(s)

Application only seems to work on video files shot from a camera...

How can I get this to read the videos for which I purchased the product? Seeing as how they play fine and stream fine also...?

    This is a system message, not from MediaInfo, so it is difficult to understand its origin.
    What is the file extension of the files you try to open?
    Please test this version:
    http://mediaarea.net/download/binary/mediainfo-gui/0.7.61/MediaInfo_GUI_0.7.61_Mac.dmg
    (it is not on Mac App Store, so it is not limited by Apple rules e.g. sand boxing, I would like to know if the issue is due to sand boxing)
