I just realised that this isn't a MediaInfo problem.. I switched off the functionality and then tried using the standard Windows ToolTip feature and its just as unreliable..
Going to do a bit of searching to see if I can find any tips!

I am trying to use the "Tooltip" feature but it seems very intermittent.
I often hold the mouse over a file and wait and nothing happens.. And then I have to click the file, or the window that its in and try again.
Sometimes it works first time.. Sometimes after a couple of tries.. Other times it takes several goes to make the tooltip appear.
I am running this on several Win7 PCs with the same results, so I can only assume that its a MediInfo or Windows limitation.
Is there a way to improve this?
