Hi, all:

Does anybody know how to sample a truncated distribution for the prior without
zero/one trick in JAGS?

for example: I want a random variable v from a truncated exponential
distribution with parameter r, at the domain from 2 to infinity.

Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

I thought the censoring and truncation are the same as BUGS, so I didn't pay
attention. Thank you for your advice. That helps a lot.
