Table 5.5 says:

Function Description Restrictions
inprod(x1,x2) Inner product Dimensions of a, b conform

Presumably, that should be "Dimensions of x1, x2 conform". Better yet, for consistency with interp.line, change inprod(x1,x2) and the Restrictions to use v1, v2.

Yes there is a lot of inconsistent notation in that table. I have fixed it. Thanks for pointing this out.
