No

Hi, I'm attempting to install ATLAS in order to download Source Extractor which I need to run a MATLAB toolbox. I'm on my Mac which has the OSX Yosemite operating system. When I try to configure and then make in terminal, I get several errors, I think I haven't edited the makefile properly or something? Anyway, I have no idea what I'm doing so I'd appreciate any advice. Attached is the terminal output and also an error folder that was generated.

It wouldn't let me save two files so here is the terminal input/output

The last time I got ATLAS to work on OSX it was 3.10. See:
    http://math-atlas.sourceforge.net/atlas_install/node60.html

The problem is Apple's political decision to cripple all the GNU tools. Originally, clang (their preferred option) produced code that got the wrong answer, as well as terrible performance, but I've since heard from a user that they could fully install & pass checks using atlas+clang! However, I have not been able to do so myself, so cannot confirm/deny.

So, you might want to post a question to either the ATLAS developer list or some related forums to see what others are doing now. If you get a solution, please post it here.

If I get a chance to scope OSX myself, I'll try to help, but my schedule is currently incredibly grim

    :(

Thanks! Right now I'm trying to install it through mac ports so hopefully that works.
