I'm afraid ATLAS does not explicitly support sparse matrix stuff of any sort, though it is often used as a kernel by sparse folks. I'm unlikely to expand into sparse matrix stuff, which is what I understand Harwell Boeing is. Have you talked with the OSKI folks?
