#63 Q: lapack API extended in new version?

Hello,

currently I'm experimenting with version 3.6.

Does anybody know if the clapack API of Atlas will be extended in the next release?

What I would appreciate most is SVD and eigenvalues and -vectors, e.g. sgebrd, dgebrd, ssytrd, dsytrd routines.

You should scope the developer series: it will become stable before the end of summer. Unfortunately, we do not yet have the time to add the SVD and eigencodes, though I know they are very much highly used. I will keep this open, but I'm sure it won't be done before the next stable, and after that we'll have to see what happens . . .
